Miami, FL – Today, Debbie Mucarsel-Powell held a roundtable discussing the importance of supporting Florida’s veterans, and met with voters in Pensacola and Santa Rosa.
“Veterans have given everything to serve and protect this nation – but Rick Scott has shamelessly left them in the dust in the Senate, ” said Debbie Mucarsel-Powell. “While Rick Scott initially voted against the PACT Act and vetoed $12 million to support homeless veterans. I am committed to ensuring that our nation takes care of our veterans. Together, we’ll protect veterans’ benefits and ensure they have access to quality affordable health care and economic opportunities right here in Florida. I was honored to meet with these brave Floridians and promise to be their champion in the Senate.”
