Miami, FL – On Wednesday, Debbie Mucarsel-Powell met with voters in Jacksonville to discuss the fight to protect reproductive freedom and lower costs in Florida.
“Rick Scott continues to prove that he doesn’t care about Floridians who are struggling to pay for rent or for their groceries. He’s more focused on attacking our health and our freedom while enriching himself. Scott is more than ready to force his extreme agenda in the Senate – passing a national abortion ban, criminalizing health care providers, refusing to protect access to IVF and contraception, and eliminating Social Security and Medicare,” said Debbie Mucarsel-Powell. “But women, seniors, and families all across Florida are standing up for our rights. We can see right through Scott’s lies. And in November, we’ll vote for our freedoms and our future by retiring Rick Scott.”
